We are the Oregon Trail Troubadours, a show that brings a campfire round of excellent songwriters and their stories to music fans across the country as we make our way west.

Our show combines original music, and storytelling that’s engaging for audiences of all ages. Each member of our group contributes their own unique musical voice and frontier spirit:

• Lyal Strickland – A Missouri-born songwriter, producer, and storyteller whose rootsy vocals and lyrical depth ground the Troubadours’ sound in authentic Americana tradition.
• Rachel Laven – A Texas singer-songwriter with a rich, soulful voice and a dynamic stage presence, known for blending folk, country, and blues with heartfelt storytelling.
• Daniel Neihoff – A Kentucky tunesmith whose poetic songwriting and warm baritone add a narrative thread that ties past and present together.

Together, we weave an immersive concert experience that transports listeners to a starry night on the trail — from wagon ruts to wide horizons — with humor, harmony, and heart.
